Light Up Your Life

We're obsessed with Candles in our house. My fiancé, Mark, may actually love them more than me. Candles just set a great mood for the room. They add a little glow, they smell amazing and looking at them just makes us happy.

With our obsession came a source of waste. We would light candles with the plastic lighters, the lighter fluid would run out and then what would we do with the empty lighter? Throw it out of course because what else do you do with it? It can't be recycled. And it started to make me think, how can we keep doing something that we love but stop adding to the culture of a "throw away society"? So I took to the internet and did some research on my favorite site, Amazon.

Laugh all you want but Amazon has everything. And they have eco-friendly products so it's a win-win. We found a lithium powered lighter that we could recharge right into the wall socket. No gas was involved so that meant no waste. YAY! A problem was solved. We could keep lighting our beloved candles and feel good about it because we weren't adding to the problem of creating waste.
